Enoteca Pontevecchio is owned by Tony
Sasa and his partners. As a child, Tony grew up in a farming
family where he learned about genuine food
and joyful lifestyle.
Tony is a passionate wine enthusiast who has worked in the wine and
restaurant business in Chicago, Florence and abroad for more than a
decade. Throughout these years he has built enduring relationships
with Italy's foremost enologists, winemakers and
journalists.
In "Our
Favorites" you we present wines that we have inspired us
by their originality, sincere interpretation of local varietals,
and their tangible link to the personal style of the winemaker.
In "Our
Catalogue" you find the complete list of the wines we offer
in the enoteca and can ship almost anywhere in the world.
We present only the wines that our taste buds, nose and heart can vouch
for. We continuously search for new, emerging winemakers and
for hidden treasures, often in lesser known regions. |
