QUINTODECIMO by Luigi Moio
Luigi has in his cellar a knock-out Taurasi 2003 (released in March
2008). Since the wine will not be exported to the US, we will be glad
to present you this vintage of impressive structure and elegance. The
4 hectares vineyard rises on the hill of Mirabella Eclano, and is planted
with the local Aglianico grapes.
CANTINA DEL TABURNO
This estate is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Campania.
Saturated with ancient Greek and Roman history, it seems of another
world. This area began exporting wine around the Mediterranean 2000
years ago. The key grape varieties here are Falanghina, Coda di Volpe,
Greco and the noble Aglianico.
VILLA RAIANO
They produce Fiano di Avelino, Greco di Tufo and Taurasi DOCG (100%
Aglianoco) - their finest wine. Extremely low yields and manual harvest,
as well as 18 months in barriques and 16 in the bottle, give an immense
intensity to their Taurasi.
