BENITO FERRARA
This historical estate has been founded in 1880. The 3 hectares of carefully
managed vineyards vield aromatic, richly fruity whites, among which
the most impressive is the Cru Vigna Cicogna, 100% Greco di Tufo. Harvest
exclusively by hand. The vines are about 30 years old, and the grapes
grow in double bunches: one lager and one smaller. In fact these bunch
formations are called " aminae gemina " or "twin souls".
SALVATORE MOLETTIERI
Winemaking has been in this family for generations. Their primary vintages
are Taurasi DOCG and Irpinia IGT (in the Aglianico, Rosso and Bianco
versions). Salvatore's wines are potent and energetic. This is true
above all for his grand cru Vigna Cinque Querce - a wine that has received
countless accolades from spell-bound tasting panels.
